What started as a water damage problem in La Palma, CA turned into a creative garage storage solution. The existing cabinets had weakened at the base due to low vents that allowed moisture to creep in. Things got even more complicated when a family member moved back in, bringing a large shoe collection that needed protection from the instability.
Instead of a full replacement, this project focused on strategic fixes. The two worst cabinets were removed, the vents sealed with foam, and new cabinet units installed. These new pieces not only supported the existing system but also added fresh storage space. The result? A safer, sturdier, and more spacious garage — all while staying within budget.
